Company History
IGLOO was established in 1986 as Zakład Elektromechaniki Chłodniczej. From the beginning of our operations we have pursued a vision that has established a path for our company's growth and the highest standards of corporate culture.
Recent years have seen the rapid modernization of our machine stock alongside the introduction of new, rigorous standards for quality and environmental friendliness in production. New production facilities, warehouses and office space have also been constructed. These investments generated a three-fold increase in production in just two years.
The beginning of the 21st century brought significant sales growth in Western and Central Europe, as well as in North America. The company received ISO 9001:2000 certification and also implemented the enterprise-class ERP/MRP Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 system (previously Axapta).
This was also a period of IT systems modernization and acquisition of modern equipment for production of technologically advanced cooling and heating solutions. Our production facilities were equipped with new machining stations, semi-automated assembly lines, fifth-generation lasers, conveyor robots, bending stations, painting lines, wood and aluminum machining stations, glass machining stations and a broad range of other modern equipment.
Constantly expanding and modernized machinery resources supported with modern digital technologies and programs developed in our laboratories – all this contributes to the dynamic growth of our business and increased market share of our products around the world.
Today, IGLOO is continuing with the dynamic expansion of its machinery stock located in modern production facilities with space in excess of 25,000 m2. Our technological resources and space available for construction of further production halls allow us to contemplate the future with comfort and optimism.
